Family session include traditional family portraits as well as more candid images of your family connections. I love being able to capture the un-posed, authentic emotions of your loved ones with a playful and authentic approach. I like to let family sessions flow naturally, capturing your family as you engage with each other's genuine personalities, and allowing the children explore, play, and just be themselves!

Family sessions typically take place outdoors, 1-2 hours before sunset to take advantage of the beautiful golden hour light. On overcast days the session may need to start a little earlier. Morning sessions are also an option.

Alternatively, families are welcome to come into the studio for a casual/lifestyle session or a traditional/posed session during daytime studio hours. This is a great option for families with very young children with early bedtimes, or those who don't want to deal with the unpredictable Wisconsin weather!
