Frequently Asked Questions - Smash + Splash Sessions
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO HAVE MY BABY BIRTHDAY SESSION?
If you'd like to have your birthday portraits edited and back to you before a certain date, like for displaying at their birthday party, I recommend having the session when baby is around 11 months. That should give you enough time for the editing and ordering of prints or products in time for their birthday. If there is no specific date deadline, then you're fine scheduling closer to their birthday.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
• SNACKS! Even though this session has cake, bringing in some baby snacks like puffs or yogurt melts. This little trick can be awesome for when baby isn't really into the cake...which happens often.
• A change of clothes. Some babies don't dive right into the cake as many believe, so you may need to get your hands into the cake to help them get started. This can be really messy. I recommend bringing an extra outfit for baby and one for yourself!
